Hope you are all well and staying safe let me start this post by wishing you all a Happy Easter
Today I thought I would talk about these beautiful Essence Lipsticks from the This Is Me collection that they launched a few months back .
The packaging is just so gorgeous and sleek with the top being white and then the bottom of the lipstick being rose gold you wouldn't think these gorgeous lipsticks were only £2.30 each such great value for the price they are the best essence lipstick i have tried to date by essence because my personal preference for a lipstick is a matte lipstick and these are a demi matte formula and stay on awhile so you don't have to keep applying .
Essence brought this collection out for the perfect nude for each skin tone their are 2 lipsticks for each skin tone there are 8 lipsticks in total in this collection and I have 3 of them .
The shades I picked up was 02 Happy that lipstick is for Fair Skin and then I picked up 2 lipsticks from the Tanned collection 05 Legendary and 06 real
For the price point these lipsticks are absolutely amazing they are a highly pigmented lipstick that has a demi matte finish which lasts awhile on the lips even through eating and drinking and because the lipstick are nudes they wear well .
I can't speak highly enough of these lipsticks they are some of the best nudes in my drugstore collection .

Lets do some swatches -
Here are the beautiful lipsticks so for my actual skin tone which is fair I only picked up 1 of the 2 lipsticks from essence and Happy is the darkest of the 2 lipsticks the lighter shade is called Freaky and is true nude which I have a lot of in my collection

I was drawn to Happy as it's a gorgeous rose toned nude
The other 2 lipsticks are for tanned skin I was drawn to the Legendary shade as it's a very unique almost grey toned brown and i don't have too many of those in my lipstick collection and then Real is a nice rosy toned nude I didn't realise it at the time i've only just realised now by swatching all of the lipsticks together but Happy and Real are very similar Real is just a couple of shades darker
Along with bringing out this gorgeous collection of nude lipsticks for each skintone Essence also brought out nail polishes for each skin tone which I thought was a genius idea.
To my knowledge no one else as done this to date
I haven't tried the nail polish but maybe sometime in the future I will try it
